We've scheduled Alan's "Mediocrity Ride" for next Saturday (during the easter weekend).

We're hoping Alan will guide us but if he is not available John Neville has volunteered to lead the ride. Understandably (given the ride on March 28) John hasn't asked Terry to offer his navigational skills.

The usual start, along the Freeway Bike Path then onto the Roe Highway Bike Path to Orrong Road. From Orrong Road return on Roe Hwy path to Railway Pde exit. Follow railway to Oats St, then Oats/Gabriel to Abernethy, Fairbrother, Belgravia, Grandstand. Cross the river and follow the river via Maylands to East Perth, Causeway and Narrows.

11TH ANNUAL COTTESLOE EXHIBITION
Sculpture by the Sea returns to Cottesloe Beach, Perth, Western Australia. 70 local, interstate and international artists will transform Perth's most popular beach into a stunning sculpture park overlooking the Indian Ocean with some of the most glorious sunsets of any major city in the world. It's one of the world's largest free to the public events.!

We'll view the exhibition on our way to Fremantle for our coffee stop and return via Pt Walter and Canning Bridge.

Since a number of the "usual suspects" will be away for Life Cycle we've scheduled the old familiar "Friendly Freo" with the usual obligatory coffee stop (in Fremantle). We'll have the usual Maylands Railway Station start at 7:30 am then hook up at the Narrows. The ride will start from the Narrows Bridge (North Side - where the bike path goes under the freeway bridge) at 8:00 am.
